At Green Valley, we love our competition. Some of it is more serious. Some of it is about playing new clubs and making new friends. Either way, competition at every level keeps our members busy throughout the playing season.

Steve Ikard Captain NCGA Team Play

NCGA TEAM MATCHES Welcome to NCGA Competition. This is the competitive arm of the club. Each year we field a team of competitors for play throughout the Bay Area. The competitive clubs are selected annually and have included Silverado, Meadow and Olympic Club, to name a few. We take our Pro plus 11 men to each match. Each of our 2 man teams compete head to head in both individual and “2 man” team match play. At the end of these fun but intense matches, we share appetizers and a toast or two with the host team. Points are accumulated throughout the season for ultimate bragging rights.

WOMEN'S OPEN DAYS One of the great “perks” of membership at Green Valley is being invited to “Open Days”. Private clubs throughout Northern California periodically open their clubs, inviting members from other clubs to play. From Monterey to the Sierra’s, our members are given the opportunities to play other beautiful courses.
